Overview
The factory Black Edition finish, on your hatch.
This is the real VW part, not a painted or wrapped copy. Swap it in and the rear of the car reads exactly like a factory Black Edition.
The Finish
Urano Grey and black — not gloss black.
The signature two-tone Black Edition colourway. It sits between the stock chrome and a full gloss-black debadge, and matches the rest of the Black Edition trim VW uses on the car.
The Install
Clip-in. No adhesive, no guesswork.
The emblem mounts with OEM clips and includes the inner trim bracket, so it locates in the factory position on the hatch. Nothing to line up by eye, and nothing to glue.
The Part
Genuine VW, part no. 5H0898633A.
Same part number as the badge fitted on the line. Built to VW's spec for fit and finish, so the gaps and depth match the surrounding hatch exactly.
The Fit
MK8 and MK8.5, GTI and R.
One badge covers the pre- and post-facelift Golf 8 hatch on both GTI and R. Pair it with the Black Edition grille and door badges for the complete look.
