How to Fit

Step 1 — Remove Your Existing Spoiler

If your boot lid already has a spoiler fitted, remove it first using a heat gun to soften the old adhesive. Keep the heat gun moving at all times — holding it in one spot for too long can damage the paint underneath. Use a heat gun at your own risk.

Step 2 — Clean the Mounting Surface

Wipe down the boot lid with a glue and tar remover until it's completely free of old adhesive residue, road grime, or wax. A clean surface is essential — any leftover residue will weaken the bond between the spoiler and the car.

Step 3 — Dry Fit Before Committing

With the backing tape still in place, rest the spoiler on the boot lid to check alignment and positioning. The contoured ends are shaped to wrap around the curve of the lid, so use this step to confirm everything lines up before you commit to the adhesive.

Step 4 — Peel, Position, and Press

Once you're confident in the placement, peel away the backing tape and carefully move the spoiler into its final position. Press down firmly along the full length of the spoiler to seat the adhesive.

Step 5 — Apply Pressure Over 24 Hours

For the strongest possible bond, apply firm pressure across the spoiler every few hours over the next 24 hours while the adhesive fully cures.

Maintenance

Stick to shampoo and light wax or polish when cleaning your spoiler. Acidic cleaning products can react with the finish and cause lasting damage, so avoid these on or around the carbon fiber surface.
