Remove door sill trims and lower dash panels to access the factory lighting harness. Most MK6 panels use push-pin clips — pry gently and evenly.

Locate the factory ambient lighting connector (if equipped) or nearest 12V accessory feed per the kit's wiring diagram.

Route the included harness along the factory path, using existing cable channels where possible.

Test-fit each Dragon Scale strip along the door panels, dash trim, and footwells before adhering anything.

Clean each surface with an alcohol wipe, then peel and press each strip firmly along its full length.

Tuck excess strip length and cabling behind trim panels so nothing is visible once reassembled.

Mount the control module in a hidden spot — typically behind the glovebox or under the dash.

Connect all LED leads into the module's ports (keyed connectors, one-way fit), then connect power to the factory accessory circuit.

Before reinstalling panels, power on the ignition and confirm all strips light up and cycle colors correctly.

Reinstall all door sills and dash panels in reverse order of removal.
