1

Turn the car off

Leave it off for the entire job — the drive selector and console power switch will be disconnected during removal.

2

Start with the USB-C cover

Clip-retained with no screws — work a pry tool or credit card gently around the edge until it releases.

3

Work back toward the shifter trim

Pry from the edges closest to the USB-C opening and move outward. Metal clip retainers usually stay behind in the console — keep track of where each one sits.

4

Remove the drive selector and USB-C module

Both clip-mounted only, no screws. Disconnect cable connectors before setting the parts aside.

5

Remove the wireless charging pad

If equipped — also clip-retained. You'll transfer it into the new trim panel.

6

Move to the side trim cover

Work it out at a slight angle rather than pulling straight up — it seats back in the same way.

7

Save every metal clip retainer

Press each one back into its mounting point on the new trim before installing.

8

Compare before installing

Lay new pieces next to removed panels and compare clip/mount locations before fitting.

9

Reinstall in reverse order

Side trim cover first, then charging pad, drive selector, USB-C module (reconnecting cables), finish with the USB-C cover.

10

Seat every panel firmly

Press until clips seat, then tug-test before closing up.

Important
No screws anywhere in this assembly — every panel is held by clips only. The side trim cover is the hardest to seat; if it resists, back off and re-check the angle rather than forcing it. Disconnect connectors before fully removing any module to avoid straining the wiring.
Reference guide only. Take your time with clip locations and test-fit before fully seating each panel. Consult a professional if unsure. Install at your own risk.
