Votex profile, without the Votex price.
Side skirts styled after VW's own Votex kit for the Jetta MK6. They drop the visual ride height along the rocker and give the car a longer, lower line — the single cheapest change you can make to how a MK6 sits.
The Look
Lower, longer, meaner.
The stock MK6 rocker is a flat blank panel. These add a stepped extension that reads as a lower ride height from the side, and they fill the gap between the front and rear arches instead of leaving it empty.
The Material
Fiberglass, unpainted.
Durable fiberglass that holds paint well and survives daily driving. They ship raw so your body shop can colour-match to your exact code — no fighting a factory finish that doesn't quite line up.
The Mount
Fasteners plus tape.
Rivets or self-tappers at the mudguard holes hold position; 1" 3M VHB 5952 along the sill pulls the full length tight. Use both — one without the other is how you end up with a gap in the middle.
The Timing
Made to order.
These aren't sitting on a shelf — each pair is built after you order, which is a 10 day processing window before anything ships. Plan your paint booth slot around that rather than the other way round.
Installation
How they mount.
Two fixing points do the work: mechanical fasteners at the mudguard holes hold the skirt in position, and VHB tape along the sill pulls the whole length tight to the body. Use both — tape alone will leave gaps, fasteners alone will let the middle sit proud.
Mudguard holes — rivets or self-tappers
The existing mudguard holes are your mechanical anchor. Rivets or self-tapping screws both work here; pick whichever you're set up for. These locate the skirt and stop it moving while the tape cures.
Lower sill — 1" 3M VHB 5952
Run 1" 3M VHB 5952 tape along the lower sill contact area. Clean the sill thoroughly first so the tape bonds properly — this is what closes the gap along the full length and gives a flush, factory-looking line.
Fitment
Will it fit?
Direct fit on the standard Jetta MK6 rocker. GLI cars work too, but the factory GLI skirts have to come off first — these won't sit over them.

Questions, answered.
How long until they ship?
These are made to order, so allow 10 days of processing before the order ships. Transit time is on top of that.
Do they come painted?
No — they arrive in raw fiberglass. Scuff, clean and prime before paint or wrap, then colour-match to your code. Skipping the prep is the most common cause of adhesion problems.
Will they fit my GLI?
Yes, but the factory GLI side skirts have to come off first. These are not designed to sit over the OEM GLI skirts.
What do I need to install them?
Rivets or self-tapping screws for the mudguard holes, and a roll of 1" 3M VHB 5952 tape for the lower sill. Neither is included.
Is drilling required?
The mudguard holes already exist, so you're fastening into them rather than drilling new ones. The rest of the length is held by the VHB tape.
What's the return policy?
Returns are handled under our standard refund policy. Once a made-to-order pair has been painted or modified it can't be returned, so check fitment before your body shop starts.
