Overview
Pull the factory muffler off the turbo inlet.
RacingLine's muffler delete replaces the restrictive factory turbo muffler on MQB EA888 Gen3 and Gen3B engines with a single machined billet piece. It goes in with hand tools in around half an hour, and the stock part can go straight back on.
Construction
One piece of billet.
CNC machined from a single piece of T6-6061 billet aluminium, hand polished, finished in gloss midnight black anodising with laser-etched branding.
Compatibility
IS20 and IS38.
Fits EA888 Gen3 and Gen3B engines running either the IS20 or IS38 turbo — covering stock GTI and Golf R setups on the MQB platform.
Install
Around 30 minutes.
Hand tools only. No cutting, no permanent changes to the car.
Reversible
Stock parts go back on.
Keep the factory muffler and you can return the car to standard whenever you need to.
