Overview
Lighter wheels, starting at the bolt.
Rison machines these lug bolts from GR5 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) with a 60° conical seat for aftermarket wheels. They're around 45% lighter than steel bolts, won't rust, and come as a full set of 20 with the 12-point socket to fit them.
Material
GR5 titanium.
Aerospace-grade Ti-6Al-4V with tensile strength over 900 MPa — strong, light and fully corrosion resistant.
Weight
About 45% lighter.
Twenty bolts' worth of unsprung, rotating weight off the car compared with steel.
Head
12-point, socket included.
A compact 12-point head takes a 17mm 12-point socket — and one comes in the set.
Finish
Five colors.
Raw titanium, or PVD-coated Burnt Blue, Gold, Black or Rainbow.
Fitment

InstallHand-start, then torque.
Clean the threads
Clean the hub threads and the wheel seats. Apply nickel-based anti-seize to the bolt threads only — never copper, and nothing on the seat.
Hand-start every bolt
Thread each bolt in by hand. Don't use an impact gun on titanium.
Torque in a star pattern
Torque with a torque wrench in a star pattern. Rison rates these for 120–130 Nm — confirm the right figure with your wheel maker.
Re-check
Re-torque after the first 50 miles and check them at every wheel change.

FAQQuestions, answered.
Will these fit my factory wheels?
No. Factory VW and Audi wheels use a ball (radius) seat. These are conical-seat bolts for aftermarket wheels.
How do I tell my wheel's seat type?
Look at the bolt holes: a cone-shaped taper is conical, a rounded cup is a ball seat. Most aftermarket wheels are conical — check with the wheel maker if unsure.
What torque should I use?
Rison rates these for 120–130 Nm, which is below VW's 140 Nm factory spec on MQB cars. Confirm with your wheel maker before installing.
Can I use an impact gun?
No. Hand-start every bolt and use a torque wrench.
Does it come with a socket?
Yes — a 17mm 12-point socket is included.
What's the return policy?
Uninstalled and in original packaging, returns fall under our standard refund policy. Get in touch before sending anything back.
