A glass blank for the MK8's rear wiper mount — not moulded plastic — cut and finished to match the tailgate glass itself. Pull the factory wiper arm and blade and fill the hole with a cover that reads as part of the glass, not a plug over it. Each kit ships with the blank and the adhesive sealant needed to fit it, made to order in the UK.

Handle the factory wiper with care. Removing it with too much force can crack or shatter the rear glass — work it loose slowly and stop if it isn't coming free easily.

The Blank

Cut and finished to match the factory tailgate glass — not a moulded plastic cover — so it sits flush over the mount once the arm and motor linkage are removed. Handle it, and the factory wiper you're removing, gently: force can crack the glass.
