Volkswagen's own black nappa leather wallet, carrying the current embossed VW logo on the front. Most car-brand merchandise shouts. This one is a plain black leather wallet with a debossed roundel — the kind of thing you can actually put on a restaurant table.
The Leather
Seta cowhide nappa, not coated split.
Nappa is a full-grain cowhide finished to stay soft, which is why it creases into shape rather than cracking along the folds. A coated split-leather wallet looks similar for six months and then starts flaking at the spine. This doesn't.
The Logo
The new VW roundel, embossed.
Carries Volkswagen's current flat logo, embossed into the front panel rather than printed or badged on. No plastic emblem to catch, no print to wear off at the corners.
The Size
Roughly 125 x 95 x 20 mm.
Standard bifold proportions — it sits flat in a jacket pocket and doesn't turn a back pocket into a brick. The 20 mm depth is with the wallet loaded, not empty.
