If your car has an 8-button steering wheel and was built before 2009, you need this when installing an RCD330 Plus or RCD360.
Solves Battery Drain
Without this, the RCD330 causes battery drain on 2005–2009 VW models. This gateway emulator prevents that.
Restores All Steering Buttons
Full steering wheel button functionality is restored after the RCD330 head unit swap.
