⚠️ The pre-wired LED Grille Plug connector is only available on SE and Autobahn trims — the base S trim doesn't have that grille harness, so S trim uses DIY wiring (No Connector). Clips may need to be trimmed and the emblem secured with glue or 3M VHB tape; a small ~6mm hole behind the badge is required to route power wires. Recommended connectors: a Posi-Tap or a Dorman 85038 T-Tap — both are waterproof and weather sealed.
Maintenance & UpkeepIf the badge starts flickering or drops out, it's almost always the tap or the ground point — pop the connector and re-seat it before assuming the emblem. Clean the lens with a soft cloth and avoid aiming a pressure washer straight at the badge edge.

Maintenance & UpkeepFlickering is almost always the tap or the ground point — re-seat the connector before assuming the emblem. Soft cloth on the lens, no pressure washer at the badge edge.
If you went with the No Connector option (S trim, or SE/Autobahn without the add-on), wiring in the emblem is straightforward — no need to cut into the factory harness.
Locate the headlight/DRL harness behind the grille on the side you're installing.
Identify the DRL+ (daytime running light positive) wire — this is what powers the emblem.
Clamp a Posi-Tap or Dorman 85038 T-Tap connector onto the DRL+ wire and route the emblem's red lead into the open side — both are waterproof and weather sealed, unlike standard Scotch-Lock taps.
Crimp the tap closed, then run the black lead to a clean chassis ground point.
Test before final reassembly — it should light up, flash three times, then hold steady with your DRLs/headlights.
⚠️ Verify polarity with a multimeter before tapping in. Double-check your Trim + Power Connector selection at checkout — SE and Autobahn can use the plug-and-play Grille Plug instead.
