The Setup
Plug it in and forget it's there.
The dongle lives in the OBD2 port under the dash and pairs to your phone over Bluetooth. No laptop, no cables, no adapters. Automatic ignition detection and sleep mode mean you can leave it plugged in permanently without worrying about the battery.
The Access

Full access across MQB. The most heavily supported chassis for One-Click Apps and retrofit coding.
VW MK8 / MK8.5 (through 2023) — Golf, GTI, Golf R
MQB Evo cars carry SFD protection. Auto-unlock handles it with a PRO or ULTIMATE plan, so coding still works.
VW Tiguan, Atlas, Arteon, Taos, Jetta (through 2023)
Same MQB access as the Golf family. Available options depend on your car's factory equipment.
VW ID.4 and other MEB electric platforms

2024+ VW & Audi with SFD2 security
The tightened SFD2 layer blocks advanced diagnostics and coding. Basic OBD2 engine and transmission reads still work, but this is not the tool to buy for a 2024+ car.
Pre-2008 VW & Audi (no CAN-bus)
Cars built before the CAN-bus protocol was standard can't be read by this device.
Advanced diagnostics and coding for Volkswagen Group vehicles are licensed worldwide, so US cars are fully covered. Available features still depend on your specific model, year and factory equipment — message us with your VIN if you want it checked before you order.
