The OE-style wiper, straight from Bosch.
The A863S is Bosch's matched front pair for the MK7 Golf family and Audi 8V: a 650mm driver's blade and a 450mm passenger's blade, both Aerotwin flat blades that clip straight onto the factory arms.
Flat Blade
Even pressure, end to end.
Instead of a frame and pivot joints, a tensioned spring rail presses the rubber evenly along the whole length of the blade, following the curve of the glass for a streak-free wipe.
Rubber
Quiet in any weather.
A two-material rubber — soft back, hard wiping edge — with a low-friction coating keeps the blades quiet on wet or half-dry glass and helps them last.
Install
Pre-fitted adapter.
The adapter comes already on the blade, so they clip onto the factory arms in a couple of minutes — no tools, no guesswork.
Aero
Stays planted at speed.
An integrated spoiler uses the airflow to hold the blade against the windshield at highway speeds, where framed blades tend to lift.

InstallTwo minutes, no tools.
Put the wipers in service position
Switch the ignition off, then within a few seconds push the wiper stalk down and hold it — the arms park upright on the glass so you can lift them.
Remove the old blades
Lift each arm off the glass, press the release on the blade and slide it off the arm.
Clip on the new blades
Slide the 650mm blade onto the driver's arm and the 450mm onto the passenger's until they click. Lower the arms gently.
Park the wipers
Switch the ignition on and flick the stalk once — the arms return to their normal resting position.

It says "EU only" — will it fit my US car?
Yes. "Left-hand drive" just means the driver sits on the left, as in the US. The EU label only rules out right-hand-drive markets.
Is it the same as the dealer part?
It's Bosch's direct replacement for the factory front set, VW 5G1998002.
Does it include the rear wiper?
No, this is the front pair only.
How often should I replace them?
Most drivers swap wipers every 6–12 months, or sooner if they streak, chatter or skip.
Does it fit the MK8 GTI?
We haven't confirmed MK8 fitment. Send us your VIN and we'll check.
