Installation

Wiring the emblem.

Tapping the Tiguan headlight harness with a T-tap terminal for the LED emblem

This emblem wires in directly — there's no plug-and-play connector included, so you'll tap into the headlight harness using a T-tap terminal.

Locate the headlight harness behind the grille on the side you're installing.
Find a switched 12V wire that only powers on with your headlights/parking lights.
Clamp a T-tap (Scotch-Lock) terminal onto that wire and route the emblem's positive lead into the open side.
Crimp the tap closed, then run the ground lead to a clean chassis ground point.
Test the emblem before final reassembly, then tuck and secure the wiring away from heat and moving parts.

⚠️ Verify wire polarity and switched status with a multimeter before tapping in — the wrong wire can pull power from the wrong circuit or blow a fuse.
