This emblem wires in directly — there's no plug-and-play connector included, so you'll tap into the headlight harness using a tap connector.

1. Locate the headlight harness behind the grille on the side you're installing.
2. Find a switched 12V wire that only powers on with your headlights/parking lights.
3. Clamp a Posi-Tap or Dorman 85038 T-Tap connector onto that wire and route the emblem's positive lead into the open side — both are waterproof and weather sealed, unlike standard Scotch-Lock taps.
4. Crimp the tap closed, then run the ground lead to a clean chassis ground point.
5. Test the emblem before final reassembly, then tuck and secure the wiring away from heat and moving parts.
