Installation

Fifteen minutes, no tools.

The only thing that goes wrong with adhesive badges is rushing the prep. Warm panel, clean surface, dry-fit first — do those three and it goes on straight the first time.

Remove the old badge, if there is one Warm the area with a hair dryer, then work fishing line or dental floss behind the badge in a sawing motion. Leftover adhesive comes off with an eraser wheel or adhesive remover — never a blade.

Clean the panel Wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it flash off. Skip the wax and detail spray — anything slick left on the paint is exactly what makes a badge lift a month later.

Dry-fit and mark it With the liner still on, position the badge and tape a hinge along the top edge. Step back and check it from a few angles — badge placement is the kind of thing you'll notice forever if it's 3mm off.

Peel and press Fold the badge up on the tape hinge, peel the liner, then lower it into place. Press firmly across the whole badge for 30 seconds. Work at 60°F or warmer — cold adhesive never fully keys in.

Leave it alone for 24 hours Pull the tape, then no washing and no pressure washer for a day while the adhesive cures to full strength.
