B2BFAB's Flush Plus kit is a staggered set — thinner up front, thicker out back — machined to push the wheels out level with the MK8's wide rear haunches. Every spacer is hub centric and wheel centric, and all 20 extended ball seat bolts come in the box, so there's nothing else to source. Pick the kit that matches the wheel on your car.

⚠️ Wheel size matters more than badge: the 15/20mm kit is sized around OEM 18" wheels. On OEM 19s it sits roughly 7mm wider per corner than intended. If you're on 19s — GTI or R — the 10/15mm kit is the flush one.
Maintenance & UpkeepRe-torque all four corners to 120 Nm after the first 50–100 miles, then again a few hundred miles later. Wire-brush the hub face clean at every wheel-off — a spacer sitting on rust scale is what causes the vibration people blame on spacers.

Which one is yours?

Both kits are staggered, both are hub centric, both ship with hardware. The only difference is how much spacer each corner needs to sit flush — and that comes down to the offset of the wheel already on the car, not the badge on the fender.

A spacer is only as good as how squarely it clamps. These locate on the hub and locate the wheel, so the whole stack stays centred instead of relying on the bolts to find centre for you.

Reference fitment is stock ride height on OEM wheels. Lowered cars, aftermarket offsets, or a wider tyre than factory all bring the tyre closer to the liner — rubbing at full lock or over compression becomes possible. Send us your setup and we'll tell you which kit to run.

Installation

One afternoon, four corners.

Straightforward if you've pulled a wheel before. Tools: jack and stands, 17mm socket, torque wrench, wire brush, brake cleaner.

Lift the car and pull the wheel Crack the bolts while the wheel is still on the ground, then jack the car and support it on stands. Never work under a car on a jack alone.

Clean the hub face Wire-brush the hub face and centre pilot until they're bright, then wipe with brake cleaner. Do not skip this. Rust flakes or old adhesive left behind become runout you'll feel through the wheel at highway speed.

Fit the spacer Slide the spacer onto the hub pilot — thinner spacers front, thicker rear. It should seat fully and squarely with hand pressure. If it hangs up, the hub isn't clean enough yet.

Mount the wheel on the supplied bolts Use the extended bolts from the kit, not your factory bolts — factory bolts are too short once a spacer is in the stack and won't reach safe thread engagement. Start every bolt by hand.

Torque in a star pattern Snug in a star pattern, lower the car, then torque to VW spec — 120 Nm (~89 ft-lb) — again in a star pattern. Repeat for the other three corners.

Re-torque after 50–100 miles Standard practice any time wheels come off, and worth doing here. Check all four corners once the car has heat-cycled, then again a few hundred miles later.
