Install
No tools needed.
Pull the old stick
If the tip snapped off inside the tube, get it out before fitting the new one — don't push it down into the sump.
Insert the new dipstick
Slide it fully into the tube until the handle seats.
Check your level
Engine warm and off for a few minutes, car on level ground. Pull, wipe, reinsert, read.

Yes — 06K115611AB is the current revision that replaces it.
Does it fit my MK6 GTI?
No. The MK6 uses an earlier EA888 engine with a different dipstick. Send us your VIN and we'll find the right one.
Does it fit an RS3 or TT RS?
No — the 2.5L five-cylinder uses a different dipstick.
