Installation
Read this before you order.
These aren't a straight drop-in like plain mats. The lighting needs a short setup, and it's worth knowing what's involved.
Step 1Remove the old matsTake the existing mats out first — never stack one mat on top of another.
Step 2Fit the light modulesThe two GTI light modules install into the front mats yourself, following the included instructions.
Step 3Position the sensorsTwo sensors are adhesive-mounted in the car. These aren't the lights — they tell the GTI logo when to switch on and off, so placement matters.
Step 4Fit the matsLocate all four mats on the factory fixing studs and check they sit correctly in the footwell.

CareDry Fully After CleaningLet the mats dry completely before putting them back in the car.
