The Finish
Multi-layer gloss black.
The chrome is specially prepped so the paint bonds, then built up in several layers of high-gloss black and sealed with clear coat to stand up to weather and washes.
Install

It uses the factory clip mounts — no adhesive, no drilling. Pop the old badge out and press this one in, about ten minutes.

Work around the edge with a plastic trim tool to release the clips. Avoid metal tools — they'll mark the paint.
Clean the mounting area
Wipe the grille where the emblem sits so nothing gets trapped behind the new one.
Press in the painted emblem
Line it up and press evenly until every clip seats.
