A CNC-machined billet inlet with a velocity-stack taper feeding a 3-inch straight-through multi-ply silicone hose. Smooth bends keep the flow laminar all the way to the compressor, so the turbo sees up to 10% more air than it does through the restrictive factory inlet. Works with the stock airbox or a Unitronic carbon intake, and with the OEM turbo or a Garrett GT2260S.

⚠️ MK8 GTI only: The Golf R and 8Y S3 use a different inlet kit — this one will not fit them.

Up to 10% more air to the turbo.

The factory inlet is the tightest point between the airbox and the compressor. Unitronic's replacement is CNC-machined from billet aluminum with a smooth internal taper that accelerates air just before the turbine — the same idea as a velocity stack. A reinforced multi-ply silicone hose carries it the rest of the way without collapsing under boost, and the whole assembly holds gentle bends so the airflow stays laminar instead of tumbling.
