Overview
The kit that stays in the car.
Most jobs on a modern VW are Torx and hex, not spanners. This is that set — sized for interior trim, badges, plates and covers, in a case small enough that it actually lives in the car instead of the garage.
The Case
167 x 94 x 39 mm.
ABS and aluminium in black and red, honeycomb detailing, GTI logo on the lid. Everything seats in its own recess, so nothing rattles loose in a door pocket or under a seat.
The Bits
Colour-coded by family.
Thirty bits with coloured rings — hex, Torx with security hole, slotted, Pozidriv and Phillips. You reach for the colour, not the tiny stamped number, which matters when you're working in a footwell.
The Drive
Ratchet, extension, 1/4" adapter.
Nine chrome vanadium sockets from 5 to 13 mm, a ratchet handle, an extension bar and a 1/4" adapter so the sockets and the bits run off the same drive.
The Steel
S2 bits, 70 Nm rating.
S2 tool steel with a zinc phosphate finish on the bits, chrome vanadium on the sockets. Rated to 70 Nm by hand — plenty for trim fasteners, not a breaker bar substitute for suspension work.

What it won't do
70 Nm is the hand-torque ceiling. This is a trim and fastener kit — wheel bolts, subframe and suspension work need proper breaker bars and a torque wrench.
